Finance Committee 2010/11
The Finance Committee oversees SNU finances and ensures that adequate accounting procedures are complied with. The committee reviews SNU financial policies, goods & services pricing, budgets and plans for the future. The committee considers applications for assistance from SNU churches and can make grants or provide the expertise to help SNU churches apply for loans or grants from other organisations.The SNU's main sources of income as follows:-
- Annually, churches pay to the SNU a 'capitation fee' of £4.50 for each full member of the church.
- Annually, 'Class B' members pay a membership fee, currently £24.
- Income from it's savings and investments.
- Property income such as rents.
- Sale of SNU goods & publications, and other services.
