Mediumship
What is Mediumship?
Mediumship provides evidence of life after death by transferring information from a spirit to a recipient through a medium. The medium receives and conveys personal messages from the communicating spirit.
What is its Purpose?
The purpose of mediumship is to offer proof of survival, not to predict the future, give advice, or counsel. It allows spirits to communicate, helping us understand that life continues beyond physical death.
Spirit Contact
A spirit retains personality, memories, and emotions after death and continues to learn and grow. Mediums do not summon spirits; spirits choose to communicate. The medium’s role is to identify the spirit and share personal details to confirm their identity.
Ensuring Excellence
The SNU runs an accreditation scheme that ensures mediums who represent the Union are experienced, trained and commit to the highest standards of practice and conduct.
