We are delighted to welcome you to the new website for the Spiritualists’ National Union!
Listening to our members and churches’ feedback, we are very excited to be launching an all-new official website that has been designed and built as a sleek, modern and much more user friendly central hub for SNU Spiritualism.
Just like our churches, we have designed the site to be friendly, inviting and helpful!
Firstly, we recognised that our official website has to serve multiple functions:
- Be a gateway and useful introduction to Spiritualism as a religion.
- Be an informative and helpful introduction to the SNU as an organisation and charity.
- Be a new home and official website for the Spiritualists’ National Union International (‘SNUi’).
- Provide members, churches and healers with all the information and resources they need to operate.
- Promote and champion everything going on within the SNU.
- Be a place where people can sign up as members, enrol on courses and find out about training and development.
For those who may be new to Spiritualism, we knew the site had to present key information about what both Spiritualism and the SNU are, in a clean, accessible and appealing way. In our ‘About’ tab on the menu at the top of this page, you’ll find clearly signposted, flowing sections which cover all the essentials of both Spiritualism and the SNU.
A new approach to the essentials – introducing SNU Portals!
We heard loud and clear that one of the real issues our fantastic members, volunteers and even staff faced was a real difficulty in finding and accessing the content they needed. Our previous website had become something of a feat in navigating!
To address this important issue, we are excited to launch our new SNU ‘Portals’ – bespoke landing areas on the website dedicated to the information, resources and updates needed for the different elements of the Union.
The three portals at launch are (click to visit!):
These dedicated areas host a wealth of resources, updates, training and much, much more.
Simply log in as a member, healer or church/centre, and you will find all you need in one handy, go-to space!
Note – we will be distributing login details to committees over the coming days in order to access the Church & Centre Portal. You will need a specific church or centre login to access the Church & Centre Portal, and it will be up to committees to decide which officers and volunteers are given this information.
Plenty more to come…
We hope you enjoy exploring this new online home for SNU Spiritualism, but please be assured that this is just the beginning!
Over the coming weeks and months, there are more sections, pages, content and functionality that we will be rolling out onto the new site. We are committed to building and growing this into the online platform and resources that our members and movement deserve!
If there is something you think is missing on the new website, or there are certain features or functionality you feel it would benefit from, please do let us know by clicking on the button below!
