Dear Friends,

We look forward to our upcoming Annual General Meeting of 26-27 September in Bromsgrove, for another important weekend of discussion, debate and voting on the future of our Union and movement.

We would like to remind everyone that, as already stated on the SNU website, attendance at the SNU AGM is open only to the following, for both in-person and Zoom:

  • Individual Members of the SNU
  • Representatives of SNU Branches, District Councils, Churches and Pioneer Centres *

In addition, all attendees must have registered in advance.

Church members who are not Individual Members of the SNU are not eligible to attend, as we have no means of centrally verifying their eligibility.

If you have already registered to attend, but do not meet the above criteria, you will be contacted in the coming days, and any bookings you have made will be refunded.

This decision has been taken by the National Executive Committee in order to protect the democratic basis of the AGM, whilst also ensuring that attendance can be managed effectively and that appropriate seating, access and other logistical arrangements can be provided.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and look forward to welcoming eligible delegates and members to this year’s meeting.

Yours sincerely,

SNU Operations

* Please note: Representatives are restricted in number. For the majority, this will be one appointed representative per Branch, District Council, Church or Pioneer Centre. Dependent on their size, some may be entitled to more than one representative. To check your entitlement, please contact Head Office.
