Following confirmation of eligibility requirements under the Constitution and Bylaws, Sean Taylor is no longer Acting Vice President 2.
We recognise that this is disappointing news and extend our sincere thanks to Sean for the commitment, time and goodwill he has shown during his period of service. He has had a lasting impact on our movement. We appreciate Sean’s cooperation in supporting the organisation to ensure its governance processes are followed appropriately.
Nomination forms for the forthcoming elections have already been issued, and members will continue to have the full opportunity to participate in the democratic process and vote for their preferred candidate.
The NEC remains committed to upholding transparency, fairness and constitutional compliance in all aspects of governance, and will continue to review and strengthen processes where appropriate.
